Unlike many larger Nandina varieties, 'Harbour Dwarf' is generally non-invasive - for information about your specific area, review local guidance. Nandina berries are toxic to birds, pets, and livestock in quantity. 'Harbour Dwarf' produces fewer berries than larger varieties, but exercising care in planting near areas used by wildlife or pets. The reduced spread and berry production of 'Harbour Dwarf' allow you to enjoy the many attractive features of Nandinas with less environmental footprint.
