Plant Care

Thank you for choosing a MicroStarts plant! Here’s a general guide to help your new plant thrive:
  1. Watering: Keep the soil moist, but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure your plant has proper drainage to prevent root rot.
  2. Light: Most plants prefer bright, indirect sunlight. However, be sure to check the specific needs of your plant.
  3. Soil: For best results, use a well-draining, nutrient-rich soil mix when repotting.
  4. Temperature & Humidity: Keep your plant in a location with consistent temperatures (65-75°F) and moderate humidity. Avoid placing it in drafty areas or near heating vents.
  5. Fertilizer: Feed your plant with a balanced fertilizer during its growing season (spring to early fall). Follow the fertilizer’s instructions for best results.
  6. For Plug Plants: Plug plants require extra care and should be transferred to a larger container with fresh soil before being ready for ground planting, if needed.

Note: Every plant is unique and may have specific care needs. This guide is intended as a general starting point—please research your plant’s individual requirements for optimal growth.
