Cinderella pumpkin, commonly known as Rouge Vif d’Étampes, is a French heirloom known for its deeply ribbed, flattened shape and vibrant reddish-orange color. It is highly ornamental but also edible, with sweet, dense flesh ideal for baking. The plants are productive and produce multiple medium-to-large fruits per vine, and are a favorite for fall displays and pies.
Cinderella pumpkins are large, somewhat flattened, deeply ribbed, and have a deep orange color, getting their name from their coach-like shape. Mature pumpkins are generally around 15-25 pounds, and have sweet, dense flesh.
